What We Do:

We show up every Sunday at 4pm at two locations with a hot meal for anyone in need.
We server in both Kelso and Longview WA.

Our meals come prepackaged and we also make deliveries for some of the elderly or those who have mobility issues.

WHY WE DO IT:

Nobody needs a reason to do good things…

Looking around our community you can see others who are struggling. There are families with 2 working adults and still they are experiencing impoverished conditions. You might ask yourself “What can I do to help?”

Our lives are busy and full of commitments just like you. We are all working people who try to meet our own basic needs first. Like you, none of us want to give so much of ourselves that we put ourselves in jeopardy. So how can any of us help those around us without sacrificing more than we are able?

The solution is TEAMWORK! Just as we look to serve our community, it take a community effort to do so effectively. As the old saying goes, “Many hands makes light work”. With this spirit, we are fortunate to find like minded individuals and partnerships.

Kathleen Brown

Kathleen Brown

We would like to recognize Kathleen Brown.
Kathleen was a huge influence in the Belly Brigade. She was everything to our Longview crew and like a mom to many of us.
Although she was dealing with her own health issues, Kathleen continued to do so much for others. You could find her preparing hot meals for community members every Sunday and wrapping Christmas gifts from our toy drive.
Sadly Kathleen left us too soon when she lost her battle with cancer on May 23rd 2021. She will be missed by so many and continues to be an inspiration to those whose life she touched with her generosity and spirit.
