Echoes of Kindness
Cascadia Cares has been shaped by the dedication of extraordinary people who gave their time, hearts, and energy to our mission. While some are no longer with us, their impact remains. This space is our tribute to the lives and legacies of those we’ve lost—and our way of keeping their spirit alive.
Kathleen Brown
Kathleen was a huge influence in the Belly Brigade. She was everything to our Longview crew and like a mom to many of us.
Although she was dealing with her own health issues, Kathleen continued to do so much for others. You could find her preparing hot meals for community members every Sunday and wrapping Christmas gifts from our toy drive.
Sadly Kathleen left us too soon when she lost her battle with cancer on May 23rd 2021. She will be missed by so many and continues to be an inspiration to those whose life she touched with her generosity and spirit.

Chuck was a founding member and a central part of the creation of Cascadia Cares. Without his help, it’s unlikely that this non-profit would even exist. His quiet dedication inspired us all.
